Ash & Vale is owned and operated by Ashley (Ash) & Sarah (Vale). We first started our book selling journey with a mobile bookstore traveling to local coffee shops, wineries and more. Expanding on our adventure, we decided to open up a small independent bookstore in New London, Ohio.

Ashley always loved reading since she can remember. Books are her passion and she has dreamed of owning her own bookstore for a long time. Not only does she love reading and sharing her love of reading with others, she is also a new independent author!

Sarah’s love of reading came later in life. She has always read on and off, but the past 3 years it’s been a focal point in her life. Opening a bookstore allows her to explore new books and genres. She enjoys researching trending books and watching for new releases to add to the shelves for customers. No matter how beloved a book is, someone out there has yet to discover it.
